The Jotunn have managed to destroy one planet already, forcing the realms to unite against them, beating them back. As the years pass, Jotunnheim continues to plot and amass forces in the background, preparing for a new age of war. But it may arrive sooner than even they expect.

Both Loki and Thor are stranded on Jotunnheim. Together, they journey across the icy, treacherous landscape of Utgard, in search of shelter and a way home.

As far as Thor is concerned, Loki is more than an adopted sibling—he’s a Blood Brother, and a friend. Thor is more than willing to face the giants of Utgard in order to protect him.

What he doesn’t know is that Loki is harboring a dangerous and treacherous secret, one that will lead to the eventual destruction of Asgard, all-out war among the realms, and an age of fire and death.

War of the Nine is a series of short tales re-imagining various Norse Myths in a Sc-Fi, Star Wars-like setting. They are linear. They are all connected. Each one is another step toward the immutable fate of the Nine Realms, one that not even the Gods can prevent: Ragnarok itself.
